D’Elia supports the Quebracho group leader, who is now beginning to be tried

In Comodoro Py court begins trial against Quebracho group leader, Fernando Esteche, and Luis social leader D’Elia was present to support him.

The president travels to Venezuela and will meet Chavez on Tuesday

President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner traveled to Venezuela to participate in the celebrations of the bicentennial of the independence of that country and on Tuesday she will meet with her counterpart, Hugo Chavez.

Early this morning, the Senate passed the cheque tax amendement with 35 votes in favour and 33 against.

Now it will be discussed at the Chamber of Deputies.

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has failed to pay $493,000 in personal income tax, according to California officials.

Anderson is on the annual list of delinquent taxpayers released yesterday by the California Franchise Tax Board.

The 42-year-old actress, who is currently competing on the US television show Dancing With the Stars, is among 250 individual and business taxpayers who each are said to owe more than $100,000 in back taxes.

Senators who miss regular meetings will be charged 20% of their wages

The Senate President and Vice President of the Nation, Julio Cobos, ordered, yesterday, to “deduct a 20% from the wages of those senators who miss the regular meeting next Wednesday and prevent the functioning of the Upper House”.

The warning is for the 36 kirchnerist senators and allies who caused the failure of last Wednesday’s meeting. Everyone will be “called through a statement that will be published in two Capital Federal newspapers on Monday or Tuesday next week”.

Actress Silvana Roth passed away
